OUR TEAM
Raul Cutait
Chairman of the Board
Professor, Department of Surgery at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo - USP; Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee of FIESP; and surgeon at Hospital Sírio Libanês. Dr. Cutait is a former Municipal Secretary of Health of São Paulo city and Director of Hospital Sírio Libanês, as well as president of national and international medical societies in his specialty. Dr. Raul Cutait is a member of the Academia Nacional de Medicina and the Academia Paulista de Letras, lecturer and a published author in scientific journals and in the media in general. He is a graduate of the Faculdade de Medicina da USP, where he completed his master's and PhD.
Carlos Del Nero
CEO
Independent consultant with over 30 years of experience in projects in the health and education sectors. He is a form director of health programs at Booz Allen Hamilton and partner at K2 Achievements, having worked on strategy and operations projects in Brazil and abroad. In his career, he has alternated positions as a healthcare executive and consultant. He graduated from the Faculdade de Medicina de Jundiaí, with a residency in Hospital Administration at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP, a residency in Family Practice at the Christ-Rush Medical School Program in Chicago, a Master’s in Public Health at Yale University and a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Marcos Kisil
Chairman of the Auditing Committee
Full Professor at the Faculdade de Saúde Pública da Universidade de São Paulo. For 15 years he was Director of the WK Kellogg Foundation for Latin America, having previously held executive positions at the Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo. Dr. Kisil is the author of more than 50 articles and 18 books and chapters of specialized books. He graduated from the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, where he also did his residency in Preventive and Social Medicine. His PhD is from the George Washington University School of Governance and Public Administration.
Wilson Pollara
Founding member
CEO of the Instituto de Assistência Médica do Servidor Público Estadual (IAMSPE) and Tenured Professor at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo. Dr. Pollara has over 30 years of experience in executive positions in both the public and private sectors. He is a former president of the International College of Surgery and Executive Director of the Instituto Central do Hospital das Clínicas da Universidade de São Paulo. He is also a former Deputy Secretary for Health at State of São Paulo and Municipal Secretary of Health at city of São Paulo. He graduated from the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, where he pursued an academic career, master's and PhD.
Valdir Simão
Founding member
Partner at Warde Advogados, he is a lecturer and professor of graduate programs in Law. Dr. Simão is a former president of the Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS), Secretary of Finance, Deputy Secretary of the Receita Federal do Brasil and Executive Secretary of the Staff of the Presidency of the Republic. In his career in public administration, he also worked as an Public Solicitor for the Receita Federal do Brasil for 29 years. He is also a former Minister of Planning, Budget and Management and former Chief Minister of the Controladoria Geral da União. He is a PhD candidate in Law at the Universidad de Salamanca and completed a Master's in Management and Management of Social Security Systems at the Universidad de Alcalá.
